Dogs

To start off I would like to say a big thankyou to the committee and members for the opportunity and the honour of judging their 2025 championship show also thankyou to the exhibitors for giving me the chance of judging their dogs. This is one of my favourite clubs they work hard to make this show is a success year after year. A special thanks to Julie Gray for her many years of hard work in keeping this club together. 
Class 1 Minor Puppy Dog
1st Mr J & Mrs J Griffin Jazostaffs Supermoon
A black brindle dog full of substance, a quality strong head, correct bite, neat ears, well boned, straight front, short coupled with a level topline. A strong rear end with a good bend of stifle, he was a clear winner of his class, moved and handled very well. 
2nd Mrs D Courtney’s Dexilystaffs Northern Star
Red and white pied dog a nice puppy dog, good size, nice head, correct bite, clean lips, neat ears, good tipline. Moved and handled very well. 
3rd Miss L McCrystals Kenbloom Poker
Class 2 Puppy Dog
1st Mr D Gonzalez & Mr N Hirst Dusklight Small Town Boy at Maskalon
This young dog stood out straight awa, a clear winner and I predict a very good future for this outstanding young dog. A red and white pied dog with a very good blend of bull and terrier. Really nice head, clean lips, correct bite, strong muzzle, dark round eyes, neat ears, level topline, good back end. Moved and handled very well and I gave him my best puppy dog. 
2nd Boulton Haytons Dusklight See Me Now
A white dog with black eye patch, a standard puppy dog, really nice shape all round strong head, good bite, neat ears, good front with plenty width, nice bend of stifle and he moved and handled well.
3rd Boulton and Haytons Dusklight White heat
Another very nice pup from this kennel. 
Class 3 Junior Dog
1st Mr C Brown Arkenstaff Dark Spirit
A very nice black young dog fits the standard well, a clean look all round, correct bite, clean lips, neatest of ears, good straight front, ample bone, short coupled dog moved and handled very well.
2nd S Walsh Geordietoon Defiant Boy for Weorc JW
Brindle dog strong head, dark eye, good bite, neat ears short in the back, powerful back end, moved and handled very well. 
3rd Wilkies Geordiestaff Toon Army
Class 4 Yearling Dog
1st Mr L and Mrs E Moult Kamaristaff Royal Legend at Moultsstaffs JW
This was a very good class and this young dog stood out with a very nice outline. Standard dog with a strong head and not over done in any way, clean lips, good bite, darkest of eyes, neat ears, strong front, well up on his toes, short coupled, good rib, nice bend of stifle, moved very well, another fantastic dog from a great kennel. 
2nd Ubogis Forever Bull icon of Style
Excellent black dog clean look good blend of bull and terrier, nice head, correct bite, dark eye, nice front, good spring of rib with a short back, ample rear end. Moved and handled very well. 
3rd Mr I and Mrs A Isles Ladarna Glen Lyon For Luthais
Class 5 Novice Dog
1st Mrs L Lessels Dusklight Momento Mori
Red dog with a white chest very nice dog, clean look, correct bite, strong front, neat ears, short in the back and level topline, moved and handled very well. 
Class 6 Post Graduate Dog
1st Mr J and Mrs T Mills Stormbreakers Vengeance at Milarkebull
A lovely red dog with a very clean look a very nice head, not overdone with a dark mask, clean lips, good bite, straight front, excellent topline, held on the move, moved and handled very well.
2nd Stars Aberstaff Murtagh
Standard red dog with a nice dark mask, good bite, neat ears, straight front, short back, moved and handled well. 
3rd Sinclair’s Glenskyra Lomond Lad 
Class 7 Limit Dog
This class was a very hard class, in this class there were lots of dog's worthy of winning top honours on any day. 
1st Mr J Watson Dringshaw Masterpiece at Sparkstaff
Now here is a dog full of spirit. Has a keen expression with straightest of fronts, well up on his toes and very clean all round look on a very good blend of bull and terrier, correct bite, neat ears, level topline, ample backend stood out so much I awarded him my CC dog and best of breed. 
2nd Mr T Lowe Big man on Madui Shawrigg J W
Another outstanding dog I’ve watched him lots of times, he is an awesome dog and more than worthy of gaining his title, he’s a nice red dog, powerful but not overdone in any way with a strong head, correct bite, dark eye, neat ears, plenty of bone and substance, level topline, strong backend, moved very well and handled exellently. 
3rd Mr and Mrs P & D Oram Kamaristaff Royal Rumble for Kalanibull
Class 8 Open Dog
1st Mr N Davies CH Hasburystaff Top Gun JW
Another very special dog standing out from the crowd, he’s a dark brindle dog, very flashy, full of ring present who shows himself off fantastically. Strong head, clean and not overdonein any way with a good bite, clean lips, neatest of ears, excellent front, well up on his toes, good spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved up and down the ring excellently, handled perfect. My RCC. 
2nd Hart & Halifax CH Jackstaff Made A Boy ForAlbermarbull
This dog is a truly amazing dog, a real credit to his kennel, red and white pied dog, fits the standard to a T, a real stand out dog, beautiful head, not overdone, clean lips, correct bite, nice round eye, neatest of ears, really nice front, well up on his toes with a short back, excellent spring of rib, strong backend witha good bend of stifle and level topline. Held on the move, he moved very well and did everything he was asked. 
3rd Wilson’s CH Northstaff Nightmare JW
Class 9 Good Citizen Dog
1st Mrs G Irvine Ashstaff Marshal of Fire
Black brindle dog, nice clean look, good head, correct bite, neat ears, good tipline, held on the move and moved and handled well. 
2nd Mr D Wilson Baalzstarz Zibal
Brindle dog very fit condition, excellent bite, dark round eye, straight front, level topline, ample backend. Moved and handled very well. 
Class 10 Veteran Dog
1st Mr & Mrs D Desmond CH Elitebull Challenger JW
What can I say about this dog, that hasn’t been said many times before, he is one of the all time greats, I loved him the first time I saw him many years ago, black brindle dog, fits the standard to a T, excellent blend of bull and terrier, not overdone anywhere. Strong head, keen expression, good bite, clean lips, best of fronts, level topline, good spring of rib, well angled backend, still moves excellent. I could keep going on about him over and over.
2nd Mr & Mrs E & D Donaldson Briganah Dark Renagade
Dark brindle dog strong but not overdone, looked like he still liked being in the ring and enjoyed himself. Nice look about him all round.
