Here's how the points are Allocated
Top Stafford & Best Opposite Sex
Points are allocated as follows :- Best of Breed 5 points, CC win 10 points, Reserve CC 5 points and 3 points for first places in Open and Limit classes.
Top Puppy
Points are allocated as follows :-
CC’s - 10 points
Reserve CC’s - 5 points
First place in Puppy - 3 points
Second place in Puppy - 2 points
Third place in Puppy - 1 point
Only wins in Puppy & Minor Puppy classes count
Top Junior
Points are allocated as follows :-
CC’s from Junior class - 10 points
Reserve CC’s as above - 5 points
First place in Junior - 3 points
Second place in Junior - 2 points
Third place in Junior - 1 points
Top Veteran
Points are allocated as follows :-
First place Second place Third place
3 points 2 points 1 point
Only wins from Veteran Classes count
Top Stud
Progeny win points for the Sire for obtaining a CC, Reserve CC or a Crufts qualifying class win (1st place only) on a scale of 10 points, 5 points and 2 points respectively.
Only the one win counts and the higher level of win replaces the previous win so that the maximum that any one dog (or bitch) can win for it’s Sire is 10 points
Top Brood Bitch
Progeny win points for the Dam for obtaining a CC, Reserve CC or a Crufts qualifying class win (1st place only) on a scale of 10 points, 5 points and 2 points respectively.
Only the one win counts and the higher level of win replaces the previous win so that the maximum that any one dog (or bitch) can win for it’s Sire is 10 points
Top Breeder
Breeders accrue points as follows :-
20 points for breeding a champion made up in the year
10 points for breeding other CC winners in the year, including Champions made up in previous years
5 points for breeding each dog which only wins a Reserve CC in the year 2 points for each dog which only wins a Crufts qualifier class in the year Only one win counts and the higher level of award replaces the previous award so that the maximum that any one dog can accrue for the breeder is 20 point
